Grangemouth Gala Day

Normally held in June, this local festival has been celebrated in Grangemouth for over 100 years. The event centres on the crowning of the Gala Queen and her retinue. Preparations start well in advance, with fairy tale arches being built and whole buildings and streets transformed. It’s kind of a big deal!
